Neutrino oscillation probabilities

Probability that a neutrino born as the chosen flavour is detected as each flavour, versus distance travelled. Uses measured mixing angles and mass splittings (vacuum, normal ordering, δ_CP = 0).

Real neutrinos crossing the Earth also feel matter effects (MSW), which this vacuum plot ignores. Parameters: θ₁₂ = 33.4°, θ₂₃ = 49°, θ₁₃ = 8.6°, Δm²₂₁ = 7.4×10⁻⁵ eV², Δm²₃₁ = 2.5×10⁻³ eV².
